Post-merger IT integration and system transitions.

We plan and carry out the technical work that brings teams and systems together after a transaction. Our work covers staff identities, email, shared files, business applications, and the transfer of operating responsibilities.

Plan for the first working day and the work after it.

A transaction date does not settle how staff will sign in, find documents, or get support. We identify those needs early, alongside the systems that must remain separate during the transition.

The plan records owners, dependencies, access approvals, and the order of changes. For a carve-out or a transition services agreement, we identify the technical services that must move before the agreed exit date.

Bring accounts, records, and support together.

Email and identities

We plan email and Microsoft 365 tenant migrations, domain changes, staff accounts, and access controls. The review covers licenses, sign-in dependencies, mail flow, and the accounts needed during transition.

Files and permissions

We map shared folders, Teams, SharePoint, and external access before moving content. Your records and compliance teams identify retention and preservation requirements; we include those requirements in the technical plan.

Business applications and data

We identify application owners, interfaces, source records, and the reports staff need. Our integration work covers agreed data mappings, exception handling, and checks that moved records are complete.

Support, vendors, and separation

We transfer service contacts, administrative access, monitoring, and documentation. For a divestiture, we identify shared dependencies and the work needed to establish separate operations.

Review, test, and hand over.

Agree the transition plan

Record the day-one requirements, later integration work, approvals, and recovery arrangements. Use technical due diligence findings to address dependencies before cutover.

Test with representative users

Check sign-in, mail delivery, file access, records requirements, and important application workflows. Your staff review the results before the wider move.

Complete the operating handover

Carry out the agreed cutover, investigate exceptions, and confirm the support contacts. Document remaining work and assign its owner.

Questions about the work.

Do all systems have to merge at once?

No. We can plan temporary coexistence or staged changes when the systems support it. The order depends on business priorities, security requirements, access, licenses, and provider constraints.

Can you help with an IT carve-out or TSA exit?

We can assess the shared accounts, applications, infrastructure, and support that must be separated. Your advisers set the contractual obligations; we plan the technical work and dependencies against those dates.

How do you handle downtime and recovery?

We define change windows, checks, communications, and recovery options for the systems in scope. Available interfaces and provider limits determine the approach and the interruption staff should expect.
