Software and API integration services.

We build and maintain software integrations for businesses nationwide, connecting internal applications, online stores, and payment systems. Our work covers data transfers, duplicate handling, failed updates, and ongoing support.

API integrations Shopify & ERP Payment gateways Integration support

Connected orders, inventory, and payments.

We connect the systems staff otherwise update by hand: inventory in an online store, orders in a business application, and payments in a registration system. We use existing connectors where they fit and build custom integrations where the business rules require them.

An example integration connects business records with an online store and payment system, with checks and status reporting.

Connections we build and support.

Business software and API integrations

We connect applications through supported APIs or import and export processes. Available access, record volume, and update frequency determine how the connection can operate.

Shopify and ERP connections

Our retail work includes synchronizing inventory, pricing, and product data between a hosted ERP platform and Shopify.

Payment gateway and checkout integrations

We connect payments to registration and orders, including successful and failed transactions, refunds, and records for reconciliation.

Existing integrations that keep failing

We investigate missed transfers, duplicate records, mismatched fields, and provider changes. An assessment of the code and accounts establishes what we can maintain.

Data ownership and error handling.

We define which system controls each value and what happens when systems disagree. For example, the application that sets product pricing may differ from the one that records a payment.

Records and direction

We map the fields, source of record, and direction of each transfer, including corrections, cancellations, and records created before the integration starts.

Failures and duplicate requests

We build checks for repeated requests and failed transfers, with notifications and records that help staff investigate duplicate entries, charges, and other exceptions.

Provider limits and responsibilities

Our documentation identifies subscription requirements, interfaces, vendor approvals, usage fees, and who maintains each side of the connection.

Retail software

A hosted ERP platform connected to Shopify.

  • Nationwide specialty retail platform
  • Inventory, pricing, and product synchronization
  • Platform hosting and ongoing operations

A retail software company provides point of sale, inventory, time clock, delivery, and accounting software to specialty stores across the country. briskData hosts and operates that platform.

We also engineered the Shopify integration that keeps online inventory, pricing, and product data aligned with the system of record.

Replacing unreliable registration payments.

  • Checkout modernization
  • Staging environment and launch rehearsal
  • Production cutover

An events organization relied on an aging registration portal with unreliable payment processing. briskData rebuilt its checkout, moved the platform onto current infrastructure, and provided organizers a staging environment to rehearse before launch.

We completed that cutover with full backups and no interruption to user sessions.

Development, launch, and support.

Project definition

Our proposal identifies the connections, vendor dependencies, and acceptance checks.

Development and testing

We test transfers, corrections, and failure cases. Your staff check the results and rehearse the affected workflow before launch.

Launch and maintenance

We manage the cutover and recovery preparations, verify the connection after launch, and document operation, support, and maintenance.

Integration support across the United States.

Our remote-first engineering team has done business in Cumberland, Maryland, for 15 years. We support integrations and the applications behind them for organizations nationwide.

Our Maryland coverage also includes business support in Cumberland and Allegany County, Garrett County, and Hagerstown and Washington County.

Can you use an existing connector?

Yes, when it supports the records and business rules you need. We assess the available connector, its limitations, cost, and support arrangements before recommending custom development.

Can you take over an integration another developer built?

We can review it. We need to understand the code, accounts, provider agreements, and operating history before accepting responsibility. If the handover includes the whole application, see our application takeover service.

Does payment integration include a new merchant account?

The integration scope identifies the gateway and processing account required. If you also want to review your provider or processing fees, see our payment-processing review. We confirm that work separately.

Can you produce reports from the connected data?

Yes. Our reporting automation and dashboard services cover calculations, report validation, and delivery to the staff who use the results.

What affects the integration price?

The scope depends on the available interfaces, records, business rules, existing data quality, vendor involvement, and testing. We identify initial development, outside provider fees, and ongoing support in the proposal.

Tell us which systems need to connect

Name the applications and describe the information you need to move between them. An engineer will respond within one business day.

  • The systems involved and who uses them
  • The records that need to move or stay in sync
  • Any existing connection, problem, or deadline

For business software, API, e-commerce, and payment integrations. We arrange technical access separately after reviewing the work.
